did i put these on yet?
these a couple of very nice playas we saw. they look beatiful don't they? nfortunately they were very turistic, just think that in order to get on the one with the deep blu water you had to pay something like 25 quids... should i had that we passed the gate :-)?

golf caddy

I forgot to put these on!!! this is still on isla mujeres. people go around with glof caddies and we couldn't resist the temptation. it was quite fun and considering that we do not have a driving licence we really had a laugh. thank's god that thing doesn't go faster than 20 km/h!! the second day we rented 2 bikes because we are that cool and that sporty! it was the worst idea ever, we almost died for the heat and for the pain (i'm not going to specify where but u can imagine...). i don't know how we thought about renting bikes with 35 degrees in the shade...hehhe but we survived!

Days are going pretty slowly...I'm am at uni from Mon to Thu so there's no much else to do. is pretty much classes all the time, which is not too bad because people are incredibly nice and the lessons are more a big chat between everybody than a proper class.people are quite open here, after having spent 3 years in Scotlans i'm not so used to so much spontaneity, but is good it's like everybody is more relaxed. i don't know yet if the uni is good or not though. Some classes are great, other are fun but not very usefull and there oonly one that is really boring. saying that today i've just had my geography lesson and we draw the map of europe, how fun was that??? people were asking things like " iceland is in europe?" or "where are the alps?" (what's the capital city of ireland" and so on...it's it's funny how every little thing remind me that i'm not on the same part of the planet....by the by i guess that they'll have a big laugh at me when we'll have to draw latin america... what's the capital of belize? :-)

Hi guys, i just wanted to say thanks to the people who left messages, it's so nice to read you. we are having a great time here, but we do not know many people yet and sometimes I really miss to have a chat with a friend. i came to realize that something is important only when I don't have it any more...how sad is that? i promise that i'll be more social from now on, that i'll write and that i'll keep your mailbox full with news, letters and pictures! that until the moment you'll get so tired and will tell me to f**k off hehehe

these pics were taken in a turtle sanctuary (if it's how u call it...O_o ) the smallest are 5 days old and the ones in the middle are the ones saw in the cartoon movie nemo hey dude!! actually in this picture they look like a draw don't they?

i didn't expect to meet any iguana but apparently there are quite a lot of them. we saw some in the city but these were on the island. they are quite beautiful, many different colors and shapes. but look at their "hands"!

back from the island

we are finally back from our little trip. at the end we stayed one day less than what we thought but it was kind of pricey and we think we so pretty much what there was to see...the thing is that we are realizing that those places are beautiful but they are always crowded, there are tourists every where and we don't really like it... i know we are tourist too but hey we live here! hehehe... well it was great fun we just got a bit tired of tourist groups and reggaeton music.

ok now it's a good time to be very very jelous! actually not really because the only time we got there the weather was awful and we had to go back to the city because we thought the rain was going to catch us...but still that's us in the caribbean! and at the botton u can see a wonderful storm...scary!

i forgot these 2! this is the living room/kitchen, is quite nice and cozy but there is not Air conditioning so it can get quite hot! we quite like the flat it's a mixture of styles between granny and holiday house hehehe

We got here!

We finally got here! it's extremely hot and humid, and it's quite difficult to get used to it. We didn't have much time to enjoy the beaches and the nature but hopefully we'll do our first trip tomorrow. we are planning to go to islas mujeres!! i really can't wait i think we'll have a wonderful time. i'm going to try to upload a couple of picture let's see if it works...

TIME TO GO!!!

non ho scuse!! I didn't write anything since June!! well not that an incredible lot of things happened...in fact it has been pretty much the same since then... as soon as i finished uni i started working full time and nothing else happened since! how booooooooooring! well but now it's going to be over soon. i've have 2 hours and half left in the office and then i will finish to work...hopefully for a very long time!!!!
we are flying on Monday, or at least i hope so because now with this terroristic thing in the airports we do not know what's goign to happen. If everything goes fine we will be in Cancun by 18.00 on Monday. I can't believe it. I'm excited but also very scared because we are going to start from the beginning again and we don't know how is going to be...well first of all i should really finish to pack my stuff otherwise i won't be able to go anywhere!!!!
